Yoshiko

There are Japanese ceramics from our friend, Yoshiko. She now has one of my small wood carvings that sits on her shelf in Osaka.

The background is a set of metal punches of the alphabet.

It was a last minute blip but I like it. Particularly as it has been a slightly leaden day in the weather and in my heart. Is it the season turning, the stifling stillness and cloud-cover, events in Turkey which brought back my time in Bologna when I lived around the corner from the bomb blast at the station in 1980 that killed 84, or just me getting older?

Answers on a postcard please.
