Street art Ponta Delgada

So our first full day in the Azores, and it started well. We'd lost Roz's  hand luggage bag in the rush to get a taxi from the airport last night. First thing this morning the police showed up and returned it, which was brilliant.

Roz, my mum and I headed up to the supermarket to get some bits and pieces before the teenagers were properly out of bed, and by the time we got back they'd decided they wanted to head to the mall.

We were left to our own devices and went exploring. We saw loads of Ponta Delgada which is a great wee town. busy enough to feel lively without feeling too crowded. Admittedly it's a Sunday so it mught be quieter than usual for this time of year.

After some late lunch we headed back and met the girls then we all headed out for a wander and some food.

The day was rounded off with a trip to the local pub, first impressions are great.
