At least Manchester accepted him for what he was!

Manchester is one of the most liberal cities I have had the pleasure to know and to work in... Here is someone who was so badly treated by the British Government and the authorities when he was alive and yet without him the course of the Second World War could have been dramatically different!  Yet Manchester has adopted Alan Turing and why not!  Here is proof again that Manchester is ahead of its time!
