Patina Boys

The patina room is filled with noxious fumes from acids, waxes and sealers, so we must wear respirators in here. The various colors I use on my bronzes are achieved by mixing different acids at different very high temperatures. The guy in the background is heating his piece to red-hot temperature with a propane torch and spraying with acid. The guy in the foreground is applying wax to my bison herd. The horse and Indian on the left is mine. It's been cleaned and sand - blasted to shiny bare metal and is ready to patina.
