"At the third puff the time will be...."

Is there still a Speaking Clock? Is it still possible to find the correct time, 'sponsored by Accurist', on the telephone?

If my telecommunications were up and running I could check, but they are not. It's a week since they went down. They were not back on Thursday as promised and now (Saturday) I'm told engineers will working through the weekend to replace worn-out cables.

So, thank you for your comments and once more, apologies for my absence.  I'm again making use of WiFi in town to respond to emails etc. so have limited time to spend online.

Life without the internet is possible  and may even have its compensations. Telling the time by dandelion clock is also very freeing.
