Thin on visits today, spent most of the day preparing materials for print. So ..... this week is WSW, the largest annual space event in the world. World Space Week, an annual holiday in various parts of the world, is defined as "an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition."
The dates of WSW, October 4–10, is based on the dates of the launch of the first human-made satellite, Sputnik 1, on October 4, 1957; and the signing of the Outer Space Treaty on October 10, 1967.
