Rievaulx Sculptures

On a beautiful afternoon we had a trip to Rievaulx Terrace. Thank you to Riversider for alerting me to the arrival of some sculptures.

The National Trust staff pointed out the sculptures were on sale and that some had already been sold and removed. Suspect the price tag on this Phoenix will ensure it stays put for a while!

Had a hard time deciding which photo to choose. On the basis the views will still be there for another day decided it had to be the Phoenix.
