Central Chile - Valpariso

We were very excited to be heading back to the coast and to be on the beach again. The idea of sunbaking quickly disappeared when we arrived, it was freezing and overcast! On the day we arrived we did the afternoon walking tour through town. This city is on a big port, which lost is popularity after the Panama Canal opened. The city is built on rolling hills, each hill with a different name, we stayed in Cerro Alegre. The steep hills are lined with the most spectacular street art and murals. Coffee shops and restaurants line the streets and the smell of fresh empanadas fresh from the oven flood the streets. We fell in love with the city after the 3 hours we spent exploring.
