Cormorant

We spotted this Cormorant drying it's wings in the warm Autumn sunshine on the bridge in Cockermouth.

Cormorants are large with  a primitive appearance... it's long neck making it appear almost reptilian...

The 'extra' photo was taken as I was playing golf this morning...the valley was filled with cloud inversion!
