Busy day today! We left quite early. Katie spent this morning playing with GrannyGrandad. They had a lot of fun. They went first to the duck pond, they went to the park, they walked through the village, and then they after all that went to the play cafe. Katie was a bit overwhelmed by big loud boys so did lots of eating, colouring and reading but had lots of fun. She arrived back to me fast asleep, in GrannyGrandad's pushchair. She briefly woke, for maybe ten minutes, but then decided to go back to sleep.

When she woke, we had arrived at Aiden's 2nd birthday party. I got her changed and she decided to sit back in the pushchair for a while longer. It was quite a big, noisy party, so she took a while to settle. But she liked bouncing with Tigger, she liked playing with bubbles, with some jumping monkeys and with a balloon. She ate yummy party tea and then decided she'd had enough so went to the upstairs room and ran round. I enjoyed the party as I got snuggles with my goddaughter, including a lovely proper big snuggle with her tied in our meitai which we were showing to her parents. It made me seriously broody though!

We got a lift home ready for our second birthday celebration. Grandad's 65th/60th - officially the former, but he's saying it is now in fact the latter. Cake, cheesecake, yummy food, good times!
