Living in Manchester

A is also for.....

Action and Adventure at the football festival.

I am exhausted and in need of a lie down!

This morning I was up at 7am making sure that all #3boys kit was ready.
He got home at 7.30am following Brandon's birthday sleep over (a professional preparation as ever)!
Off to the football, via the shops to pick up essential supplies,(crisps, sports drinks, jaffa cakes etc etc).
We met the lovely Jeff who had brought his Gazebo. He had come straight over following a night shift - what a trooper!!
He also brought 2 large boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts - the food of champions!
It was already raining as we set up the neccessary shelter.

Next I popped off to buy heat lamps for Frankie, meat from the butchers, collect folding chairs from the garden and got back to watch the action.

There was rain, wind, five wins and a draw in the group stages, rain, more wind, a 4-0 win in the quater final and then.......

A gazebo (not ours) flew across the field!!!!
The lads lost on penalties in the semi final :-((
They lost 0-1 in the play-off for 3rd position.

However they collected trophies for 4th place (yes ANOTHER trophy) and ate every last piece of junk food available.

We are now home.
Jeff has gone to get some sleep and #3boy and I are 'chillin'

The photo shows....
Nani,s Dad (keeping dry)
Will's Dad (throwing clothes about)
Nani (nick name)
Josh's Grandad (hidden)
Howard (Coach with clipboard)
#3boy (his choice of haircut!)
Will (Stressing)
The green gazebo behind them is the one that took off.
It was REALLY REALLY funny :-)))))
