Maisie - not a party lover

We went to a belated birthday barbecue. I think the hosts were hoping for better weather but were in fact glad of their very long veranda to sit us under. Their dog Maisie didn't lilke people coming and sitting in her favourite seat, so once she got the chance she jumped into it.
Before the party I'd had a lovely swim in the outdoor pool at Woodstock, the water actually sparkled in the sunshine and I realised I swim much better in the morning than after a day's work. Shame I undid all the good work later...
