Harvest Festival

The church was decorated with flowers and produce, packets, tins, sheafs of corn and a Harvest Loaf. We sang the favourites (We plough the fields and scatter) and sang a new hymn too. One of my favourite lines is:
"The valleys stand so thick with corn,
That even they are singing."
