Satisfying Saturday
These roses in our garden seem to be showing off their autumn beauty, before the weather turns colder!
We had our last village history meeting this morning!! We spent a while sorting out all the wonderful old photos which people had lent us for the book, to make sure they are all returned to their respective owners. We then finalised book orders - and out of the 200 print run, there are only 6 left unreserved! After this we sat in JD's sunroom enjoying a coffee and a chat, which was very pleasant and relaxing!
This afternoon I planted out one more large pot and cut back the lavender.
And then I took some blue rope onto the grass and attempted to move it into the shape of the new island bed we are planning!! This will be an exciting project!
An extra photo of a coal tit feeding this morning.
