The Colour of Autumn

First thing this morning Cosmo had a bath. This usually results in a period of madness while she tries to dry herself off, however a few minutes with some gentle warm air, accompanied by lots of attention helps to keep her calm.

After this traumatic start to the day we headed out to enjoy the weather. A visit to the Walled Garden at Crathes Castle shows there is still a lot of colour to be seen. Some corners of the garden are particularly colourful.

We then decided to take a look at Drum Castle where the garden is also looking good despite the lateness of the season. Here we managed to drop a mobile phone, however somebody picked it up, and after several phone calls we were reunited with the phone.

Unfortunately this may be the last blue sky for a while as the forecast for the days is cloud and rain.
