Don’t be chicken!

A visit to a local farmshop today introduced me to this very tame chicken. Not content with pecking around outside she likes to wander into the shop and try to peck the bags of sweets hanging up!! I’m not too keen on birds so tend to keep my distance a bit but this one made me laugh!
We had bird trouble yesterday when opening up a hanger at Elmsett we found a pheasant trapped inside overnight … so whilst Nigel was opening the doors to shoo it out I ran into the office to hide!!
I love farmshops as they tend to have specialist products instead of the run-of-the-mill basic staples. I picked up a lovely looking mango & orange salad dressing – looking forward to trying that tomorrow on my lunch!

After a quick trip into town to pick up some bits it was home to a pile of ironing and a catch-up with Strictly … ready for the elimination show tonight!!!
