As you can see, the special frill - a more delicate take on the plastic bucket dogs wear after being neutered, is tolerated but not to be laughed at.

Wilson gets itchy in warmer weather. He'll lick and pull on his tummy until it's bald. This year he's started pulling fur off his side. That rough little tongue makes a mess of his skin. He returned from his holiday wearing this, and had a steroid injection to calm things down.

Someone clever has made the collar. The fabric has stiffener in it but it's still soft and pliable. A soft piece of tubed fabric is around his neck. It's a tight fit to get on and off over his head, and as you can imagine, neither is a popular move.

This one is borrowed from the vet and 5-star luxury cat accommodation. I'm hoping I can get one for his as it's doing the trick, as it stops his obsessive compulsive over grooming.

It will be the perfect Christmas present for him ;-)
