...you'll never believe your eyes...

We first saw these mushrooms in the headlights at night, as we were driving home down The Lion's Mouth, the lane near our house which leads through Felbrigg Great Wood.
I went back for a closer look in the daylight. There were a lot of them. Shaggy Ink Caps. I am cautious about wild mushrooms but I was confident of the identification so I took a couple home and cooked one of them. Delicious.
