......  will this thing hold?

I was only thinking the other day that so far we've only had one visitation from the Long Tailed Tits this year, but that was put right today when they paid us a couple of visits.  They arrived as ever in a gang, but only stayed a very short time and then they were on their way again;  I love these tiny birds with their sweet little faces and cheeky personalities.

We've been moving the feeders around the garden somewhat lately   -  hanging them from trees in an effort to foil the squirrels;  the trouble is this involves using a step ladder and causes a lot of to-ing and fro-ing when they need filling up.  I think maybe we'll just have to accept feeding the squirrels too.
