Binning Wood

I'm planner for an orienteering event at Binning Wood in three weeks time, so today was checking to see what's changed in the three years since I last planned there. It was a great way to spend four hours on a sunny day.

Binning Wood is interesting for having been laid out based on paths radiating from three circular clearings. These then meet at all sorts of angles, making for some interesting navigation.

Having dropped off Mme A with her bike in Haddingdon in the morning, back home the evening's excitement was trying to find her somewhere to sleep for the night before it went dark. Thanks to Google, mobile phones and two kind B&B keepers, she's now tucked up in bed!
