Black and bright begonia

Definitely not a mono!

Very dank dismal and dreary today. Fog didn't clear until lunchtime, but the promised afternoon sunshine has never materliased :-( decidedly chilly at 9 degrees too......the heating is on this evening for the first time!

The light outside was pretty poor....I'd filled the birdbath in the hope of attracting a bird or two, hopefully our little Robin, who I've spotted a few times lately, but no......not a scooby!

I picked up this begonia off the path and was about to throw it in the compost bin, when I noticed it's pretty shape, so in it came for my
first indoor blip in a good while!

Although the red colour is quite dark, I like the contrast of it against our black marble worktop, with its glittery speckles :-)

Currently watching Saints playing Chelsea on TV.....good game, hub is shouting at the ref, Saints should have had two penalties :-/
Rugby later this evening.....more shouting to come :-)
