Engraving

We had a walking tour of East Budleigh village this morning. This is the birth place of Sir Walter Raleigh. The local church predates Saxon times. This engraving of a Native Red Indian has been carved on the side of one of the church pews. It is a bit of a mystery how it came to be there.
