Despite predictions of widespread mayhem, life without the chimneys goes on as normal. 

Rab used to be a builder, and he'd worked on the construction of Cockenzie power station in the 1960s. He'd come for a look to see the new skyline, and wasn't well impressed. Despite that, he wasn't half as grumpy as he looks.
