plants!

you guys might remember my friend sam from earlier this year. he works at BRIT as i have mentioned before and he came to arlington reads today to help out with math & science camp!

okay, getting ahead of myself here. this summer, in addition to the GED program, i am helping out with a program called math & science camp for youngsters. there are 4 weeks with a new group of kids each week. we are doing the same sessions with the first two groups and then new sessions with the second two groups.

well as soon as we got it all worked out i got this bright idea that sam should come help with the plant session! so he did. and it was pretty darn cool.

here we are collecting some specimens outside! what we are really looking at is the cool assassin bug on one of the leaves, though.
