2015 Thursday -- Champagne Gold Sand

We left southern California this afternoon when my teaching duties ended and we headed for the Central Coast to check in on the remodel on our little beach shack.

The main portion of the house is completely gutted, so we are staying in the small, but comfortable, guest quarters downstairs which has a lovely new bathroom. The interesting feature this weekend is that we'll have no hot water because the old water heater has been disconnected and the new one has not been installed yet.

Once we arrived, we quickly unloaded the car and then headed for the shoreline near the pier, which is at the north end of the community and that's where this photo of October's first sunset was captured.

We walked the dogs for at least a mile. We then loaded them back in the car, made sure they were comfy, and walked ourselves to Cafe Della Via to enjoyed a delicious meal.
