In the pink!

Again - this time for Flower Friday and Pink October for Breast cancer awareness.
This is, I think, a Pimlea flower head.  Miss E, Master H and I went searching for orchids on our block this afternoon.  I gave Miss E my Lumix and she got some remarkable shots for a nearly 5 year old. No rules, different perspective and no inhibitions (although she was particularly thrilled with the 10 or so she took of my bottom!!)
If this s.l.o.w. connection will allow me, I shall add extras, in particular a fabulous mantis orchid and some donkey orchids.  They have just about come to the end of their short but glorious season................
