Ashton Lane Album Launch at The Glad Cafe

Went along to The Glad Cafe in Shawlands for the launch of Ashton Lane's fifth album "Nashville Heart".  

Superb evening with Esther and Tim O'Connor, and Esther's Dad Graeme Duffin from Wet Wet Wet.  Guest fiddler Seonaid Aitken added a very special fourth dimension to this excellent band.

I enjoyed the treat of a VIP pass and glass of Cava before the launch, allowing me to choose my position for the evening and get one or two good shots. First time I've taken my 5D Mark III to a gig, using both my 50mm and 24-105 lenses.  Just need to get more practise at this game, it's not easy.
