Underneath the arches

Well alongside them anyway. Taking photos and running are not compatible but when I saw so many people taking pictures in the park it prompted me to remember I hadn't taken any all day. I say running but I don't want you to picture the wrong thing so gentle jogging / moving slightly faster than a walk would probably be better. But being back doing it whatever we call it makes me happy so let's pretend it was running.

What else today? Quite a lot of work - I seem to be getting back into my stride and we seem to be working out how to balance working, other commitments and supporting Jackson with his recovery plan. Some literal small steps today as he added an extension to his daily walk. And metaphorical steps as he added small amounts of different mental activities.

And I had a Spanish lesson which made my head hurt but was hugely entertaining as my teacher, Pedro from Madrid (for real) is so very lovely.

This was nearly a picture of Anna writing a cheque as she found an old cheque book and wondered what it was. It felt like visiting one of those living history museums.
