Monnow Bridge and Gate

We visited historic Monmouth with its lovely old shop fronts housing both independent and nationwide chain store shops.  It was late morning before the sun broke through the low cloud to give us yet another beautiful day.  We had a short drive in the Forest of Dean where the autumn leaves are beginning  to change colour.
