Lickey Hills duck ponds

Another day of weather more like October than June today, but it was dry enough at lunchtime for me to venture out into Lickey Wooods.

I spent a lot of time by these duck ponds near the Rose and Crown, watching several grey wagtails flitting around. They kept darting around from one spot to another making a lot of noise and doing their tail wagging thing, but every time I got close enough to point my camera at them they flew off.

It was a nice spot for a photo anyway and the flowering shrub added a bit of colour.
