Whitby....to the rescue

Another wonderful day. A morning of Pilates and sharing surplus apples (now incorporated with hedgerow blackberries in a pie). One of the perks of living in a rural area.

We decided on a coastal dog walk and had a ride over the moors to Sandsend near Whitby. I enjoyed watching these youngsters being taught how to rescue swimmers in difficulty using these surf boards. A multi million pound scheme was underway on the beach to stabilise the coastline but was not quite up to this action shot. A great way to end September.
