Traffic on the water....

Woke up to noisy incessant hovering news helicopters-there had been a fatal motorcycle crash on the nearby freeway with a monumental traffic backup-all well before the sun was up. Ah, the city.......
We went rowing for the first time since we left the island Labor Day... Because of our road trip and also my injured chest muscle which is finally ok. yea. It was a beautiful morning.....we just came thru this cut under the Montlake Bridge being chased by this tug ( which looked a lot bigger following us!) so got out of the way to let it pass.... Not sure what H's oar is doing while we are sitting for a minute ..but I like it in the iPhone photo with the dripping water...:-). you can see the old original UW boat house and The UW football stadium to the right...
More traffic everywhere.......
