Flowers

I've walked a marathon again today, backwards and forwards, all round the village. Hope I'm loosing some weight!

We went into school with P this morning as it was reading morning and parents are invited to come and share a book with their child. P was really proud to show me her work on the wall and where her peg and drawer are.

After stories me and A then headed to the park. We had time to kill before music group and its been another lovely warm day. Music was fun. A was doing his shy routine at the beginning by refused to get any instruments from the box, but he soon warmed up. He loved the hokey kokey and insisted on being swung around upside down! He fell asleep on the way home, so once back indoors I left him in his pushchair and sat down with a cuppa and my book...bliss.

It was soon time to get P again. As we walked through the estate I saw a lady tending her garden and stopped to say hello. P always admires her garden when we walk past and especially loves the huge sunflowers she grows. She then offered me some of her flowers to give to P. I thought that was so kind of her and totally unexpected.

P had a play date at the park after school with her new friend Lily. The girls had great fun and I got to have a chat and a chance to get to know her mummy better.
