A different day

Woke up during the night to steady rain on the window, in the morning there was heavy black clouds in the sky and it looked like we might get a thunder storm.

Had to head down the south end of the island this afternoon and it was a completely different day, bright warm sunshine and lots of high wispy cloud. Seems like we had the best of the weather too as I was speaking to someone over in Inverness who said it was absolutely pouring with rain there, obviously all the dark clouds I saw in the morning headed their way!

This blip was taken at Breakish beach, south of Broadford. I found myself with a spare half hour in between appointments so parked up to make the most of the sun for a little while!
