Super moon

Okay, this is not a great pic of the moon, I wasn't really trying, but it sure did light up the Plaza really well and since we're not going to witness another super moon till 2033 (apparently), I thought I'd better blip it.

It's been a public holiday today, so the man was home and we had a really nice day. The last word he said to me before he fell asleep last night was "biryani" so today I made one. And it was good, if that's okay to say, myself. Was very pleased with it and we enjoyed it big time, plenty left over too to finish off tomorrow.

Grateful for an extra day with the family. There's yet another public holiday on October 1 for China National Day ... and the school has given Friday off as well.
