I did manage to get up to see the Supermoon eclipse, and watched from around totality until the Moon was about half unshadowed (see extra).
After a bit of a lie-in, I went down to the valley to reccy for a Fungus Group field meeting I am co-leading on Wednesday. Happily, there was plenty around so if we get a good turnout, and the weather is fine, it should be a good outing.
The rest of the day, I have spent making a rather special damson chutney. It is still bubbling as I write. Longshaw tomorrow.
