Al fresco dining, Brussels

I was here as an invited speaker at a conference for an European project involving entrepreneurship education for biotech PhD students. 

Having been inside all day, I and another of the speakers made polite excuses about wanting to get some fresh air and found our way to an area with a few good restaurants, recommended by someone with local knowledge. It was warm enough to eat outside, albeit under a gazebo next to an outdoor heater. I had mussels and a half lobster, yum! Much better than previous attempts to have moules frites in the touristy restaurants near to the Grand Place.
