Olympic Torch Relay - Kendal

Up at an early hour to get a good position to see the torch relay. It was bucketing down and my camera doesn't take great shots on zoom in the rain but this was one of the better shots!

The crowds were amazing as they didn't seem to mind the rain. The Torch bearers seemed to be really enjoying their well earned moment in the spotlight. I do hope that tomorrow the weather is better for Brian carrying the torch in Blackpool!

We were lucky and saw the torch again from the multi storey car park as it wound its way around the town centre. A morning to hold in our memories for the rest of our lives. More about it on the blog
