This morning we travelled through to Edinburgh to view David Bailey's Stardust exhibition at the Scottish National Galleries. Some fantastic images of the Rolling Stones, Man Ray, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Francis Bacon, Kate Moss, Jean Shrimpton and of course his wife.

Loved his quote "It's not the camera that takes the picture; it's the person."

After lunch at the Outsider we caught a taxi and made our way over to the Gallery of Modern Art to view The Amazing World of M.C. Escher. We had to queue for over an hour to get in, but it was worth it. What a fabulous retrospective that shows the evolution of this Dutchman's art.

While in Modern 2 I liked this view from the top floor showing Vulcan, a 15-foot sculpture by Sir Eduardo Paolozzi.
