Ebenezer Good

It's been a fine enough day, a few odd showers and overcast all day.

It's been a busy day at work in the museum.  We had loads of folk in for Wool Week, buying plenty from the shop and looking at our textile collections.  We also had the new exhibition opening.  It's about James Robertson, who mapped Jamaica in the late 1790s.  To tie in with the new exhibition, there was also a talk in the auditorium with Christopher Fleet and plenty turned up for it.
I'm off out tonight for a meal with friends.  I's think there might be a pint or two after but can't have a late night, working again in the morning at the museum.

I had a fine lunchtime walk, well apart from the heavy shower I got caught in on the way back.  I walked up Navy Lane and passed this church hall.  I can't help but sing that 1990s classic song, Ebenezer Good, when I pass by this building :)  Taken in Navy Lane, Lerwick.
