Los Alcázares

Los Alcázares, on the Mar Menor, Murcia is an attractive beach resort......about 2 hours south from home, in Albir. There is a 7 kilometre sandy beach.....we didn't walk the whole length.......the sea is shallow...... and today is flat calm, because it is sheltered by the long spit of La Manga.
Today's Blip shows a small wooden pier with a couple of wooden huts.....and our guess is, that it probably had something to do with the local fishing industry......
Unsurprisingly, lots of restaurants offering fresh fish on their menus!
