I miss him

When I am at work, but I am one step closer to being able to work from home occasionally.

Yay.

I get to take a government sponsored trip to London next week to collect my new work laptop. A few people from my office are taking part in the next phase of the trial, we need to test the new equipment both in the office and at home to make sure that all our systems work, this is ahead of the wider roll out where we will be staying bye bye to desktops and everyone will have a laptop. The hope is for a more flexible approach that offers digital working and is cost effective.

Apparently the government agency I work for are trail blazing and so all eyes are on us.
