Today we hired bikes and cycled from Fisherman's Wharf across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. (See extra).

Here are Mr and Miss isbi through the window of the burger bar celebrating the achievement.
Fortunately the bike hire included a ferry back.

After that we took a bus to the Mission district which is supposed to be full of hipsters and very trendy. Either we are more with it than we realised or we went to the wrong place as it just looked like a rather ordinary suburb.

At 8:45 we set off for dinner in Chinatown, but due to the less than optimal public transport system in San Francisco we aborted that plan and went to the deli next door. Sorry to miss Chinatown, but the wine, cheese and hummus in our room was delicious. So will be the earlier night.

Tomorrow we are going to Alcatraz.
