Today on the Physostegia

Physostegia is not a plant that I encourage because it is so invasive. However, here on the "stump" garden it can do what it likes! I found what I think is a skipper, but don't ask me which, and a bumblebee, and again I am not at all sure which. But they were both very happy working the Physostegia! (I know, the bee is on the grass, but it was on the flowers first!)

The garden is really running down. I dug some horseradish this morning for my grandson in law. There isn't enough for him to make sauce this year but he can plant it. I used to make it every year, OUTSIDE to avoid being gassed in the process!!
