The Antidote

The antidote to a shocking day at work, it transpires, is a nerf gun battle with Ben.

Irritating meeting, a shocking lesson, a confrontational student, and a lack of resilience on my part (will I ever get through the bad days without crying???) Am ever so glad today is over. The wonderful thing about this journal, though, is that I now know that this overwhelming feeling of not being able to cope happens around this time every year. So, don't worry, I'm all fine now, only really writing it down to remind me for next year!

I have lots of lovely new wool waiting for a project, so I shall tuck myself under a blanket and start a wooly jumper.
