A great day for walking

We did an easy peasy walk today as still can't wear my boots.  We did one of those miles without stiles walks which started from Little Braithwaite.  The scenery was stunning with clear visibility of the fells.  We walked along the river to Stair and instead of turning back the way we came, carried on a bit further and did a circular walk across fields with long wet grass.   We stopped off at Bassenthwaite enroute to home and had a late lunch and Misty had her paddle and my foot got a rest.

Oh before I forget, Misty discovered Pheasants today, there were rather a lot of them in certain areas and she was fascinated by them, have put one in Extras.
