Waiting

First day of teaching: very busy. Was primed to give a colleague's lecture if his partner went into labour. She didn't so I could keep in touch with the Misses L and K who were travelling back from London on a train which got stuck in Grantham and threatened to be hours late. K got a bit anxious but L was so calm. In the end it was only one hour late. Good for them in the long run.
