From Joplin we headed west through Oklahoma.  One of the iconic attractions of Route 66 just east of the town of Catoosa, Oklahoma.

If It was good enough for Billy Connolly, it was good enough for us...it would have been rude not to, eh?

El Reno and the mile-long bridge made up for the fact that the Chain of Rocks bridge is no longer passable by vehicles.

Finally, we pulled into Oklahoma City, staying on the edge of the Bricktown neighbourhood, which has undergone a massive regeneration and is now full of lively restaurants and bars.
