Selling to students

One of the newest #leithwalkshops. The sales office for the new student accommodation on the gap site just below the Shrubhill tram sheds has opened since I last cycled up the walk.

I guess they are filling the flats and studios right now. It must be pretty miserable as the workmen are still on site.

Student accommodation is a pretty controversial topic in Edinburgh right now. One thing I noted the other day was how lucrative it is for landlords. No wonder there is so much pressure to build more.
