Mr & Mrs Brooks......

What a truly wonderful day it has been!

We left home at 8a.m and got to Yeovil by 11.20. The hotel couldn't guarantee early availability of our rooms so 13 of us changed at Valerie and Neil's house! 

Then to the church and the wedding! As we rounded a corner to the church we came upon the groom and his best men and ushers travelling on the trailer of a tractor....and this was how the bride and groom left after their wedding for the reception! 

Will is from a farming family and the reception was in the huge barn which had been transformed by an internal marquee. It was amazing and the whole day wonderful. A swing band provided great music in the evening, and there was a hog roast for the evening guests and anyone who could manage to eat after the delicious wedding breakfast.  

Our hotel was good too, and we will all meet for breakfast after a good night's sleep.......zzzzz

My extra photo is of all the cousins on my side of the family. It has been very special to see them catch up on each other today. There are now spouses and children and the numbers are steadily growing, but this is the core group.
